HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL

I'm so excited. I'm taking a break from cooking to do this post and watch a little Auburn football while the Rose Bowl Parade records.

Joe & I are expecting 12 or more people in a few hours (4:00 pm to be exact).

I know you want to know the menu. Well here it is, BBQ pork, Blackeyed Peas, Collard Greens, Deviled eggs (thanks G), Mac & Cheese, Cornbread, Texas cavalier (dip made with Blackeyed peas), Spinach dip, salsa, potato skins, 7 layer dip, various chips, Apple pie, Strawberry Butter Braid and various drinks. This is all so new to me but I'm really looking forward to it.

My house is clear of Christmas and now my hubby must help me with the table (find the leafs and put the them in. Gotta go now.

Whatever you are doing today, I hope you are having a great time. HAPPY NEW YEAR'S Y'ALL

Oh shoot. It's 4:38 here. Guess I can't make it in time. :) (Truth be told, I don't do the black-eyed peas and collard green thing anyway.)

Happy New Year, JC!
