PRAISE THE LORD HAPPY DANCE

That is right. Monday night I was praising God for a good report from my surgeon. He is pleased with the way the bone graft site is healing. He did not remove the stitches. He said they will come out on their own. Now it is up to the brace doctor to get my teeth in alignment. I'm so thankful for all your prayers. Give yourself a hug for me.

I returned to Curves this afternoon. I didn't realize how much I missed going. Not just the exercise but the fellowship of other women. I also walked the local mall at lunch. I don't think my loving husband likes my going to Curves after I get off. He would prefer I come straight home. I hope he can get over it because I need to get back to exercise. My weight is staying steady but but I know I must make some eating adjustments. I've eaten mostly soft carbs since Dec. 3rd. Now that there is someone in my life, I've got to figure out how to eat well and consider my loving husband. Any suggestions from any of you would be appreciated.

Well, that is it for me for now. Hope you are having a great evening.

So happy for you. Sounds like you are on the way to healing and straightening (o:
I fight with the eating right and cooking healthy meals... no magic answer. We do sit down and eat together almost every night. I try to search out some recipes on the internet and then at least serve it up pretty. Nice plates, no paper (o: Just make it look like a special meal.... even if it is easy. I will be reading other peoples tips (o:

Glad to hear you are healing well !As to the exercise, perhaps finding something you can do together would be the answer. Perhaps not the typical gym thing, but what about something like square dancing ? Tennis ? Walks in the woods ? If he does not have a weight issue, try to suggest it as a way to simply do something together instead of a weight loss thing. With most men it seems this approach will be better received.

Yaay! I'm so happy the graft is working well!

Good for you for getting back to exercise and the fellowship (gal-ship?) with your friends. When Mr. Wonderful sees that it makes you feel better, he'll come around, I'm sure.

I am so glad you got back to Curves and mall walking. Your loving husband will adjust to your Curves visits...that will give him more time to prepare a healthy evening meal!!!! Exercise is one thing I have my loving husbands blessings on.

Love you,
Bethy

So glad your graft is doing well! And you need to let your Joe know that if you go to Curves, you will be a much happier, more pleasant, and HEALTHIER wife.

Thanks for your comment on my blog, I am going through some awful stuff right now with a trial. I hate being so cryptic, so if you want me to tell you about it, give me your email address in a comment. :)

I'm so glad your graft is healing well!

Find something you can do together, not to replace Curves, since you enjoy it, but do a bit of both.

I hope that you heal quickly!

The plan I am doing is at:

I've needed something like this for a long time, to lose weight and get in control but also to renew my relationship with Christ.

Let me know what you think!
