SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a rare event when we get enough snow for kids to play in but last Friday was our day. The snow started coming down around 10 AM and in a couple of hours everything but payment was white. Here are pictures from my yard back and front. The cedar tree is at the end of my driveway. I love this tree because it reminds me of the yard where I grew up. The next picture is the rest of my back yard.

The picture below is our view from the car as we are headed to our other house before the roads get too bad.

As we go down the driveway, I asked Joe to stop so I could get these next two pictures. I love the way you can see the snow coming down.

These is where we park at the other house. The white car belongs to another couple. but I love the tree line above the retaining wall.

Here is Lassie, our (Joe's) dog. She isn't to happy with cold, wet paws. The close up of this picture shows snow flakes on her flurry back. She is always so happy to see us.
Hope you enjoyed my contribution to snow pictures this year because there probably will not be any more. It was the perfect kind of snow for snowman making but Joe & I didn't make one so no picture. The snow was gone by Saturday afternoon. However, it is so cold here that the snowmen are leaning to one side but still standing.
Well, Saturday was weigh in. Joe & I did good, I think. We both lost 2 lbs each. Joe was disappointed but I am happy. I'm happy with 1 lb a week so 2 in a week is GREAT!!! However, along came Sunday and Valentine's Day Lunch, is there really a need to say more. I didn't think so.

we had snow on Saturday for the grandkids who were staying at our house to play in. Congrats on the 2 pounds...I think this is great.

That's a lot of snow for your part of the south! Pretty!

Congrats to you and Joe on the loss for the week! We'll have to indoctrinate him that ANY loss is a celebration (a non-food one, of course!:))

I read this in my reader but didn't comment (bad habit).

Your snow is beautiful! There was a cedar tree in my childhood too - good memories :)

I LOVE that you are a dog owner!! I dunno why, I just do!

Beautiful snow pictures...but I don't envy you. I hate snow and we have been snow free here in the Seattle area this year.

Good for you and Joe on the weight loss front. Men always lose weight faster than women, so he was probably expecting more. Still 2 lbs each is great!
