WONDERING ABOUT ME?

Well, it is o.k. if you are wondering about me. Sometimes I wonder about myself. That was suppose to be funny.

I don't know if I mentioned this or not but on Valentine's Day Joe accidentally poured boiling water over the top of his left hand. He has a very nasty burn. On Feb 8th, I had a little rough spot on my right hand removed. It turned out to be skin cancer. Yesterday, I returned to the doctor's office for more treatment (scraping and burning) on my hand. Between the two of us we are a pitiful looking pair. My right hand is covered in white gauze for the next 48 hours because I'm allergic to tape. On the up side of all this, it is Joe's left hand and my right hand so as long as I'm on Joe's right side, we can still hold hands. Isn't that sweet. Neither of us can wash dishes so I'm praising God that we have a dishwasher. And another up side, Joe is right handed and I'm left handed so we can still write, eat, push the buttons on the microwave & stove and wipe what needs to be wiped. HA!!!! LOL!!! I'm cracking myself up. I know I didn't need to go there but I couldn't resist.

We did not weigh this past Saturday because we didn't go to our weekend retreat this weekend. Neither of us wanted to face the scale. We have eaten everything in sight since Valentine's day.

We have gotten plenty of exercise. Even with hurt hands we cleaned out the garage and move all my flower arranging stuff to a little storage building behind the house. Now there is room for Joe's car, 2 motorcycles and new lawn tractor. Yep, you can definitely tell a man lives with me now. I don't know when the little house (storage building) will be organized but Joe did put up multiple shelves on two walls of the building. That will be a job for the spring. Now our attention is turned to cutting/trimming trees. We also took care of cutting bushes back this weekend.

We are planning on planting some tomato plants when it warms up. I want to plant some herbs but Joe has no idea what herbs are or why I would want to grow them.

Well that is all I have for right now. Hope you week is going well. I've read some great blog posts today. If I haven't commented on yours in a while, I'll be by for a visit soon. I hope.

Well now you two love birds can probably still do the dishes. You stand on his left, put your right arm around him, he puts his left arm around you, and then you coordinate your left hand with his right hand for dish washing. Piece of cake (after the weigh in)!

Great, newsy, post.
Did I know you are left handed...I know I am but don't recall you being.
Love you, Bethy

Yep, no doubt by the sound of it that a man lives there now :) I love it when you crack up - we have similar senses of humor so I crack up too!

Love you!
