It has been almost two months since my last post. Oh my goodness where have I been and what have I been doing??? Seriously, I wonder myself. Life has a way of interfering with blogging. In case you haven't experienced that by now, you will.
Since my last blog, the bike has seen no action on my part. It broke down a couple of times but fortunately for Joe, I was where I could come retrieve him. It is now in a shop somewhere waiting for something to be done to it. That is the extent of what I know.
We have put a F S sign in front of my house (I can't spell out the word "For Sale", just to much to contemplate). Reality is I married a country boy who has never lived in a subdivision and doesn't care for it. Solution, sale my house to find a place midway between daughters and my work. Stay in his place until we find something. His place is too far out for me to drive the next ten years (full retirement age). He wants a place to do his woodworking so I'm sure with time we will find a place to suit both of us.
Biggest news is that great grand boy/son is here. He looks like one of those newborn dolls. Yes, that is great-grandmama talking. He weighed 7 lb 11 oz and is 20 inches long. I would post a picture, if I had one. I keep forgetting my camera. Actually I've only seen him once when they came home from the hospital last Wednesday. Joe & I started getting colds toward the end of the week so we are staying clear of him until we are better. Actually, he came home from the hospital last Wednesday, went to his Pediatrician on Friday and was sent to Children's Hospital in B'ham. He stayed there until yesterday afternoon. Something about his temperature being too low. Can you imagine being two days old and getting circumcised and then two days later having a spinal tap done to you. Dang, I'd cry too. Tests showed nothing. Praise God. He is a healthy but sore little guy.
We are staying busy going through and clearing out both places. Reality whacked me in the face when I saw two of his first wife's wheelchairs in storage. Also her lift chair is still in the living room. Of course, the plan is to get rid of these things but the reality is they are still there. Out of site; out of mind. At least that is my thinking, I'm trying to be sensitive to the girls but someone that can use that stuff needs to have it. Joe & I don't need it.
Well got to run. I'll try to visit as soon as I have a few minutes to spare.

You are so busy and happy. It's lovely to see another post and up-date.
Congratulations Great grandmama.Hope you get to cuddle your wee boy soon.
You have heaps of things to keep you busy and I'm glad you've come to a decision on your future home. You sound so relaxed about the changes and how quickly or slowly they will take place. Being in love sure agrees with you.
Yaaay, you checked in!
Looks like you've been busybusybusy! Life gets like that sometimes. I hope y'all are able to find a house that fits your needs soon...and that yours sells quickly! I'm sure it will be nice to have that behind you.

I hear such a sweet smile in your voice and it was good to come over here and find that you had posted.. Yes life does get in the way of the blog and I so miss everyone, but it is summer time and we all need to be out side enjoying the sunshine..... I pray that you have speedy sale of your house and find something PERFECT for the both of you........

Have fun motorcycling.
So good to hear from you
My opinion (For what it's worth) is you guys need to find a house so that you don't live with his past and he doesn't live with yours.... a new start (o:
Hope you find a great place in the right location.
Congrats on the baby. Hope all is fine with him now (o:
Being a newlywed, I'm not surprised about your not posting often :)

My hubby and I are STILL living out of 2 houses...and it's been 6 years! Eventually we'll finish the addition on his and move there...thankfully they are only 5 miles apart!
