Since I last did a blog post. Why, YES, it can be over six months by a few days to be exact. Truth is I'm still lurking in Bloggerville but just haven't had the time for posting. Live is good, better than good, great even. Better than great it is "Let me tell you about my God" great. What has changed, nothing (lots of stuff). Still happily married. A new Great-grand-baby-girl is on the way, due to be here Christmas Eve. Joe & I are still living where the kudzu grows but I am getting accustomed to the drive. I'm learned I can drive, pray and listen all at the same time making the hour drive much easier. Workwise, the federal grant that pays my salary was renewed for another five year so I'm very, very, very happy about that.
My DH's sister was diagnoised with breast cancer and underwent surgery yesterday. I've never known anyone personally to fight that battle. It was an agressive cancer but it was caught early. Her lymph nodes are clear and it had not spread to her bones. She will still undergo Chemo but I don't know the details. I'm wondering if there are different kinds of Chemo. Does a persons hair fall out with any chemo treatments or just certain kinds. I don't even know who to ask so I'll just pose those questions right here, right now. If you have any words of wisdom on how I can help my sister-in-law, I sure could use them.
I've discovered being a step-mother is no walk in the park even if the kiddos are grown with their own families. Still, I'm happy to be a part of the family.
Weight-wise, I'm not even going there in this post. It would take too long.
